Dehradun the capital of Uttarakhand is situated on the doorstep of a world full of adventure, spiritualism and harmony, the foothills of Himalayas. There are lots of famous visiting places like Robber’s Cave, Lachiwala, Sahastradhara, Malsi Deer park, Asan Barrage and Tapkeshwar temple. All these places have their own importance. Robber’s cave is a natural picnic spot where water suddenly disappears and only appears after few yards in the form of stream. Sahastradhara is situated 11 kms from city. This is an ideal picnic spot. There is a sulphur spring in which visitors often take bath. This water cure skin infection. Tapkeshwar is a lord shiva’s temple. It is an ancient place and is situated in bank of rivulet. It is named Tapkeshwar as water droplets originating from rock fall on the shivling.
